Pet Bath Services for Your Pet’s Health

While grooming has many aesthetic purposes, it also benefits your pet’s overall wellbeing. Regular baths help keep the coat clean, the nails trimmed to a healthy length, and maintain healthy skin.

Clients may schedule a bath appointment that would include a nail trim and  anal glands expression. We can dremel down the nails for a smoother finish for a moderate fee.

RVA uses high-end products designed specifically for pets and even offer special shampoos for those with allergies or other skin conditions. Additionally, when you entrust your pet to their professional staff, you can avoid doing difficult nail trims yourself!

More About Bathing Benefits

When you bring your pet in for bathing, our staff not only provides a good wash, but abnormalities such as lumps or bumps, parasites, bald patches, or other skin conditions might be found and brought to the attention of you (the owner) and our veterinary staff. Furthermore, bathing allows your pet to get used to being handled which makes other veterinary visits much easier as your pet is calmer during physical examinations.

Grooming Begins at Home

While professional pet grooming is an important part of your pet’s regular wellness regime, brushing at home is a great habit to get into, as well. Not only is it good for bonding with your pet, it also allows you to examine your pet’s coat and skin for any issues and helps control shedding, too.
